Welcome to Arizona's beautiful Rim Country, one of the oldest communities in the state. Payson, Pine, Strawberry and Star Valley with its vast meadows. It is located right in the center of the Tonto National Forest, the nations largest stand of Ponderosa Pines. It is also part of the magnificent Mogollon Rim. Payson is the geographical center of Arizona.

The Rim Country with its cool and mild climate has four actual seasons, unlike most of Arizona.  It is also renowned for having the cleanest air in the west. Recreation, festivals , and numerous yearly events add to the areas popularity - that and only being a ninety minute drive from the Phoenix area. One of the most anticipated events is  the Annual World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo. 

A wide variety of housing is available and still affordable. Restaurants are plentiful, varied and very good. Schools and medical services are excellent.
